One line in theme.liquid. Marketing pixels wait until your customer agrees.

Worth saying before you install rather than after. The tag covers your storefront, which is where the marketing pixels live and where consent is actually collected. Shopify’s checkout runs on their own domain and no theme-level script reaches it, so anything firing there is governed by Shopify’s own customer privacy settings. Any consent tool that tells you otherwise is describing something it cannot do.
A busy store runs more third-party code than anyone remembers installing. The scan names all of it, including the apps that added their own.
Duplicate the theme first. Editing theme code can make it ineligible for automatic updates. Checkout runs on Shopify’s own pages and is not covered by this tag.
Once it is in, scan the site again. The scan reads the page the way a browser does, so it tells you what is still reaching the network before consent rather than what should be.
Start free on ShopifyDuplicate the theme before editing. A theme with custom code can become ineligible for automatic updates, which is a Shopify rule rather than ours.
Apps that inject a third-party host are held like anything else, which is usually the majority of what a scan finds on a busy store.
It replaces the banner. It does not replace what Shopify does inside checkout, and the two are meant to agree with each other.
Unlimited pages, unlimited visitors, 24 months of consent records in the EU. Less per site as you add more, which is how agencies actually buy this.
